The WINGS of Hope committee are pleased to announce our upcoming Mental Health First Aid training program. This program has been developed to help provide you with the skills to assist someone developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis and make a real difference to your community.
This rare opportunity to attend this certified course at no cost was due to generous funding from Surfers Against Suicide and the City of Sydney. We are very grateful to these organisations.
There will be 20 places available for people to become certified as a Mental Health First aider, which is valuable in the workplace, volunteering or in daily life. More information about the Mental Health First Aid course and content can be found on their website.
